I will record the process of my physical examination in detail for the reference of flying friends.
1. The address of the physical examination
is similar to what bbs said, it is next to Hepingli Hospital. I took a taxi. The driver didn't know where the Beijing Entry-Exit Quarantine Bureau was. He said he only knew where it was at Hepingli Hospital. When you go there, you just need to see a building marked International Travelers Health Service Center or something. It should be easy to find. Go on an empty stomach and try to go as early as possible. There are still a lot of people. When I arrived at 8:30, there were already people queuing up.
2. Things you need to prepare for the physical examination
2 photos (2 inches in black and white and color are acceptable), pen, ID card, health form issued by the school, money (for those going to the United States) The default inspection fee is 422.4 yuan. If some schools have special requirements, the price may be higher).
Special reminder: Since blood must be drawn, be sure to go for the physical examination on an empty stomach in the morning.
Special recommendation: Since the physical examination results will not be available until the afternoon of 3 working days, it is recommended that you go for the physical examination on Monday or Tuesday morning.
Note: a. You don’t need to bring your passport. It’s not necessary unless you don’t have an ID card.
The doctor will check the photo during the injection. It is said that someone pretended to be someone else
b. Two photos, one on the physical examination form and one on a small notebook
c. There are detailed instructions on the physical examination fee later, so it is best to bring more money.
d. If you have had a physical examination before and you only need a few more vaccines this time, remember to bring the vaccination yellow booklet you received last time.
e. The vaccine card on Peking University is basically useless.
f. If you want to fill out the American school immunization form, remember to bring it with you.
g. Bring a blood donation certificate. If you have donated blood voluntarily, it is said that you can avoid pricking.
3. The process of physical examination
(1) Fill in the health declaration form
This is a new item after SARS. It is very difficult to fill in personal information in one form. Simple.
(2) Get the physical examination form
After filling out the health declaration form, go to the reception window No. 2 and explain the purpose of going abroad (study abroad), the country of destination (the United States), and if the school If there are special examination items (such as PPD), please also explain. If there are no special examination items, the default physical examination items will be followed. I received a physical examination form, which contained several forms and required personal information to be filled in, both in Chinese and English.
(3) Payment
After completing the physical examination form, go to the payment window inside to calculate the fee. The examination items include: X-ray examination, electrocardiogram, blood test, systemic examination and immunization Injections (default is two injections, MMR and diphtheria and tetanus).
(4) Physical examination items
X-ray examination and blood test are on the first floor. The blood test has been changed. Only venous blood is drawn instead of finger blood, so I brought the blood donation certificate. Useless. Two tubes of venous blood need to be drawn, ft. It feels more complicated than a normal blood test because the amount of blood is so large. The blood test was slow and there were many people, so I did it last. X-ray examination is very simple, it is just a chest X-ray examination. EKG, systemic examination and injections are on the second floor. The electrocardiogram involves placing a bunch of clips on your chest, wrists and ankles. Haha, I thought I would be electrocuted, but I felt nothing. It was done very quickly. The whole-body examination was rather unpleasant. When someone came for a physical examination from an employer, they were given priority. When it was my turn, I was jumped in line by four people doing physical examinations, and I waited for half an hour in vain. The whole body examination is actually to measure blood pressure and heart rate. The other height, weight and vision are reported by yourself. The doctor who does the physical examination easily stamps a lot of passes. It feels really casual, and the doctor's service attitude is not very good. Very impatient. You need to see your ID card when taking the injection. It is one injection in each arm. The validity period of MMR is 11 years and that of diphtheria and tetanus is 1 year. After the injection, the doctor will give you a yellow-skinned International Traveler Immunization Certificate, which is proof that you have been pierced, ^_^.
There are not many items for the physical examination, but there are a lot of people. There is also a physical examination, and all items are completed by 9:40. Return to the lobby on the first floor, put the physical examination form, immunization certificate, school-issued physical examination form and a 2-inch photo into an envelope, and hand it over to the reception window No. 1. You will be given a traveler's medicine box, which contains Thermometer and common medicines, haha, I thought they wouldn’t be included when I looked at the bbs highlights section, but now they look pretty good. You need to wait 5 days to get the results, and you have to go in the afternoon to get the results, not in the morning.
