GMAW welding guns are divided into automatic welding guns and semi-automatic welding guns. Hand-held operation of semi-automatic welding torch workers, also known as hand-held welding torch, should try to reduce the weight to facilitate operation. ?

(1) Hand-held welding guns are divided into gooseneck type and pistol type. Goose-neck type is flexible, portable and accessible, and its structure is shown in Figure 1-42. Compared with gooseneck type, pistol type is suitable for thick welding wire and high current. Its structure is shown in figure 1-43.

(2) Automatic welding gun: it is directly installed on welding equipment, and the weight requirement is not so strict. Welding wires with larger current and larger diameter are often used, which puts forward higher requirements for cooling and conductivity. Its structural form can be specifically designed according to the construction needs.
