Yue Zhongqi (1686—1754), whose real name is Dong Mei, was born in Chengdu, Sichuan. In the Qing Dynasty, he was a famous soldier in the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong periods. He was tired of worshipping the governor of Shaanxi and Gansu, sealing the third-class Wei Gong, and defected many times. He wrote works such as "Gangwon Ji" and "Yin Fuji".
Yue Zhongqi is a descendant of Yue Lin, the third son of Yue Fei 2/KLOC-0. He was born in a military commander's family, and his father Yue Shenglong was the parliamentary minister and governor of Sichuan in Kangxi era.
