There are two reasons for the damage of the engine compartment cover: one is the impact of heavy objects from top to bottom, and the other is the impact of cars on the engine compartment cover.

The impact of heavy objects generally only damages the engine hatch cover itself, and rarely affects other parts, so it can be repaired on the car body during maintenance. The damage caused by car collision will not only cause damage to the front maintenance board and the left and right fenders, but also cause damage and deformation of the hood such as arching, collapse and folding. These damages and deformations are usually serious. Therefore, when the fender or cowl panel is removed for maintenance, it is necessary to remove the engine compartment cover for comprehensive maintenance and restore its original shape. The specific repair process is as follows.

Step 1: When the car body collides, in order to restore the damaged surface to its original size, the engine compartment cover needs to be removed and positioned before the damage can be repaired. Step 2: Determine the scope and degree of damage, determine the maintenance plan, and follow the standard operating steps.

Step 3: polish the paint layer. Mijin is polished to bare metal surface before operation.

Step 5: Weld the meson into a straight line to prepare for the subsequent use of the shaping frame.

Step 6: pierce the L-shaped iron on the meson so that the retractor of the shaping frame can be fixed on it for stretching operation.

Step 7: Hook the L-shaped iron on the hook of the styling frame, so that the engine hatch cover and the styling frame are basically fixed.

Step 8: Adjust the knob and bracket and fix the plastic frame. Step 9: Stretching operation. Observe the stretching range of the depression during stretching, and adjust the stretching strength according to the stretching situation.

Step 10: fix the stretching handle, and preliminarily complete the rough shaping operation (Figure 10).

Step 18: Stretch the relatively low position and knock the relatively high position. It is necessary to master the coordination between the welding torch and the meter hammer and grasp the knocking strength.

Step 19: after the repair is completed, polish the solder joint, as shown in. Step 20: Measure the repair plane and observe whether the repair plane and the intact plane are on the same plane. If they are on the same plane, the repair operation of Mi Qian can be completed; otherwise, steps 17 and 18 need to be repeated until the repair is completed.
