The method of making candy is actually simpler than these. In less than half an hour, I made two boxes of sesame candy, and I didn't need an oven to make them, as long as every household had a pot.

Ingredients of peanut sesame candy

200 grams of peanuts and 50 grams of fried white sesame seeds.

50 grams of fried black sesame seeds and 60 grams of sugar.

Golden syrup 120g pure rice vinegar 5g

Step 1

Get all the ingredients ready and weigh them, because every step is very compact, so don't worry. I use a French roast beef coil for styling, and a piece of oil paper is spread on it. You can also use other suitable tools for shaping.

Second step

Mix chopped peanuts and sesame seeds evenly.

Third step

Pour sugar and syrup into a non-stick pan, add a little salt and heat over low heat.

Fourth step

Stir gently when heating to dissolve the sugar.

Step five

Add vinegar when the sugar turns black.

Step 6

At this time, a little sugar will splash out. Be careful. After pouring the vinegar, continue to stir, and the color will soon turn amber. The sugar boiling time is about 7 minutes. This is just a reference value. Different weights, different pots and different firepower will make time different. Only by observing the change of sugar color.

Step 7

Immediately pour peanuts and sesame seeds into the pot and stir evenly so that each peanut and sesame seed is covered with syrup.

Step 8

Then pour it into a cow rolling plate covered with oil paper, and quickly compact it with a rolling pin. Be sure to compact it.

Step 9

Pick up the oiled paper, put it on the chopping block, and cut it into small pieces with a sharp knife. Don't wait until all the sugar is cold, it will be difficult to cut a lot. Cool and put in a sealed box.
