In low temperature and rainy areas in spring, varieties with late flowering, strong flower bud differentiation, high rate of regenerated inflorescences, high proportion of bisexual flowers and high fruit setting rate should be selected as the main planting to facilitate pollination. For example, autumn awn, Sri Lanka 8 1 1 awn, osmanthus awn 10, Gui Xiang awn, green awn and purple awn. Besides autumn awn, Thailand 14 awn, Guishu No.8 awn, Gui Xiang awn, green awn and Huazi awn, varieties such as Ivory No.22 awn, Tianyang Xiangmang, Liuzhou Lvzong awn and Thailand awn can also be developed in the spring drought area.

Second, the planting season

Mango planting season can be divided into two periods: spring planting (March-April) and autumn planting (9-65438+1October). Spring planting is better than autumn planting, because the temperature rises obviously in March and April, the rainfall increases and the survival rate after planting is high. Planting in autumn, the temperature is low and the weather is dry. If there is no irrigation condition, the survival rate is lower than that of spring planting. If there is irrigation condition, the survival rate of planting in this period is ok.

Third, dig planting pits.

The length, width and depth of the planting hole are 1m respectively, which is beneficial to the growth of seedlings after planting. When returning the soil, first put the topsoil on the bottom of into the pit, then put 50-60 kg of fully decomposed soil miscellaneous fertilizer and compost into each pit, and 1-2 kg of phosphate fertilizer as the base fertilizer, and fill it into the pit after fully mixing with the soil. The hole surface is made into a mound 15-20 cm above the ground, so that the soil will be flush with the ground after compaction.

Fourth, planting specifications

Seedling crown is high and should be planted thinly. The plant spacing is generally (5-6m) × (6-7m), and 16-22 plants should be planted every 0.067ha. The grafted seedlings such as ivory fruit and Lu Zongmang have larger crown and larger plant spacing. Generally, the plant spacing is 5-6 meters and 4-5 meters, and 22-23 plants are planted every 0.067 hectare. The crown of autumn awn, Gui Xiang awn and purple awn is small, and the plant spacing should be dense, generally 4-5 meters and 3-4 meters, and 33-35 plants are planted every 0.067 hectare. In recent years, dwarf plastic technology has been adopted to control the crown, and 70 plants are planted every 0.067 hectare.
