1, select orchard
Ugly oranges are not strict with the growth environment and need to grow in pollution-free soil. Ugly oranges have developed roots, so they need to be cultivated in loose and fertile soil, usually far away from urban orchards. Garden soil mixed with decomposed organic fertilizers can be used as the substrate for planting ugly oranges.
2. Sowing and planting
Ugly oranges are usually planted best in spring and autumn, and the planting method of ugly oranges needs to prepare some excellent varieties of seeds. First, loosen the soil, sow 2 ~ 3 seeds every 3 ~ 4 m, and cover the seeds with a layer of fine soil about 3 ~ 5 cm, so that the seeds can grow better after germination.
3. Planting management
Whenever an ugly orange is planted in the soil, there is no need to water and fertilize it immediately, otherwise its seeds will not germinate. Generally, it is necessary to wait for the seeds to take root and sprout, then apply an appropriate amount of foliar fertilizer to them, and then soak the soil thoroughly. It is also necessary to keep the temperature at 20 ~ 25℃ to make its seedlings grow better.
4. Pruning branches When the seedlings grow to about 1m, long and weak branches can be pruned. Then, after the seedlings are planted, you can prune the ugly orange tree that blooms every year, cut off all the useless branches, reduce the consumption of soil nutrients, and let it bear delicious fruits.
