(3) Don't rinse your mouth and spit more that day to prevent bleeding or infection. Don't repeatedly suck and spit out blood clots because of the smell of blood in your mouth, which will lead to wound healing.
(4) Don't brush your teeth on the day of tooth extraction. Do not suck the wound. Don't play musical instruments.
(5) It is normal to have bloodshot saliva within 1 week after tooth extraction. In case of bleeding, go to the hospital for examination.
(6) Try to exercise less and talk less on the day of tooth extraction. Avoid alcohol, tobacco and spicy food.
(7) If there is suture in the oral cavity during tooth extraction, the suture can only be removed after 4-5 days.
(8) Pay attention to the wound after tooth extraction. If there is a lot of bleeding, seek medical attention in time. After tooth extraction, the gauze or cotton ball on the wound needs to be bitten for about half an hour before it can be spit out. Don't bite too hard or too long. It is normal to have a small amount of blood in saliva within 24 hours.
(9) Generally, oral antibiotics are not required for tooth extraction. If wisdom teeth or teeth with big trauma are pulled out, antibiotics must be taken orally. If the symptoms get worse, you can inject antibiotics intravenously.
(10) It is suggested to use the special natural mouthwash-mouthwash tea provided by our department on the day of routine tooth extraction. Five milliliters of stock solution should be kept in your mouth for five minutes, and then spit it out. After spitting, you don't have to clean your mouth with water. You can repeat it several times a day. You can continue to rinse your mouth with it from the next day, which can reduce the postoperative reaction.
(1 1) Except for the third molar and supernumerary teeth, adults should install dentures after tooth extraction, and then install teeth about 2 months after tooth extraction (except impacted teeth) to prevent adjacent teeth from lodging.
(12) Rest in a semi-supine position after tooth extraction. Don't lie on your back or take a hot bath immediately to avoid bleeding from the wound.
