What are the shapes of bonsai?
Stump bonsai modeling mainly has the following forms:

(1) Straight dry type can be divided into single dry type, double dry type and multi-dry type. There is only one single stem, the trunk is straight without bending, and the branches and leaves are clear; There are two trunks with double trunks, one tree with double trunks or two species of the same species in a pot. One left and one right, one high and one low, echo each other, with different lengths, which is in line with nature; There are more than three trunk branches, one tree with more trunks or one pot in the same tree, and the posture is uneven and staggered, showing the solemnity of ancient times or resembling a beautiful forest.

(2) The cliff type is commonly called "upside down type", and the trunk is upside down, like an upside-down tree growing on a cliff.

(3) Co-planting type Several trees (or herbs) of the same or different kinds are planted in a pot, which is called co-planting type. Its quantity should be singular. For example, "pine, bamboo and plum" are planted in the same pot to show "three friends in the cold world"

(4) The inclined trunk bends obliquely to one side, striving to be natural, with evenly distributed branches and full of poetry.

(5) The dry trunk lies horizontally, covering the basin surface, but the branches and leaves grow upward.

(6) The dry trunk bends left and right, twisting to the right first, then to the left, with distinct layers and the shape of a dragon; Or although the trunk rises, it breaks the main branches like clouds. This kind of modeling is widely used.

(7) Some trees in rooting nature are often born next to crevice rocks. With the passage of time, topsoil is lost and root groups are exposed. Transplant them into flowerpots and keep them like this.

(8) Attached to the stone, porous stone is used first, and after processing, the roots of conifers and cypresses are introduced into the holes of the stone, which are intertwined and integrated, and over time, it is like a thousand-year-old tree in a cliff. You can also attach the old root to the stone, and the root tip will plunge into the basin soil, as if standing on the rock.
