Stamping workshop

Before talking about the stamping workshop, what you need to know is the raw materials. After all, high-quality materials are the cornerstone of everything. It is understood that the steel used by the Kodiak family comes from internationally renowned steel suppliers such as Baowu Iron and Steel, Pohang and ThyssenKrupp, and adopts double-sided galvanized sheets with excellent corrosion resistance.

Back to the stamping workshop of Changsha factory, I was impressed by two places. First, heavy AGV trolleys are widely used in workshops, completely replacing manual forklifts to carry shelf parts, which not only improves efficiency, but also greatly improves the level of safety and intelligence.

The second is to adopt the 8100t high-speed stamping line of Schuler 6 process in Germany. There are 6 presses in the punching line * * *, with a total tonnage of 8100t and a maximum punching capacity of 0/5 times per minute. Forming a part from a blank into a qualified body part requires drawing, flanging, trimming, shaping and other stamping processes. The more processes, the stronger the ability of equipment to produce complex molding. 6-step press is the press with the largest number of steps in the world at present. It is also under these advanced devices that the dynamic modeling of Kodiak family was created.

Body repair shop

The body workshop of SAIC Volkswagen is actually what we call a welding workshop, mainly welding steel. The car body workshop of SAIC Volkswagen is characterized by "automation". The number of robots in the whole workshop has reached 95 1, which not only has high precision, but also greatly improves efficiency.

In the field of four doors and two covers, the familiar laser welding will definitely not be absent. This technology can combine two steel plates at the atomic level, greatly improving the body strength of Kodiak family.

In addition, in order to further ensure the consistency of parts dimensions, in-line laser on-line measurement technology and German Zeiss measurement system are adopted in the workshop, and the important dimensions of the body-in-white are 100% monitored by non-contact laser measurement technology, so that the defects of each dimension can be found in time.

Paint shop

As the name implies, the role of the paint workshop is "painting", but it is not easy to make the paint both beautiful and corrosion-resistant. In order to achieve the purpose of "good-looking", SAIC Volkswagen spray painting workshop adopts automatic spraying, and the process is complex, covering pre-spraying, paint cavity, paint surface appearance, air spray gun and so on. , not only provides a variety of personalized colors for the car body, but also improves the anti-ultraviolet ability of the car body. The Kodiak family provides consumers with up to 7 body colors to choose from.

In terms of anti-corrosion, the Kodiak family has applied many leading technologies such as e-shuttle transportation, cavity wax injection and PVC chassis armor to ensure excellent anti-corrosion performance of vehicles. In addition, 16 door-opening and lid-opening robot and 12 spraying robot are used for inner cavity spraying, which ensures the stability of the process with high automation.

The final assembly is easier to understand, just as we put the building blocks together and assemble the various parts of the vehicle together. So, where should so many parts be put? Don't worry, the supermarket area of spare parts and materials in the assembly workshop of SAIC Volkswagen Changsha factory is about 34,000 square meters. These parts are sorted and classified, and then accurately transported to the designated station by AGV logistics trolley, with high degree of automation. Moreover, the 12 assembly line set in the workshop has reasonable planning and exquisite layout, which can meet the needs of multi-vehicle mixed-flow production and has high production flexibility.

Some people may think that the final assembly is over, but it is not. After the final assembly line is completed, the Kodiak family has to go through strict off-line tests such as road test, abnormal sound detection, rain seal detection and smoke detection to ensure that every car delivered to consumers is of high quality. Advanced equipment and strict standards are the real source of high quality for Kodiak and even German cars.
