How to grow cyclamen?
1. Soil selection: When potted, peat, vermiculite and perlite can be mixed with the back soil at the ratio of 3:2: 1, or mixed with the same amount of humus and clay.

2. Cultivation: ① The optimum temperature for seed germination is 65438 08 ~ 20℃. Sowing can be carried out in the north from late August to early September, and in the south from late September to early June.

② Soak the seeds in cold water 1 ~ 2 days, or soak them in warm water at about 30℃ for 3 ~ 4 hours.

③ Spread some broken tiles or broken plastic foam on the bottom of the basin and cover it with soil. Put the seeds into the soil and cover the seeds with about 2 cm of soil.

(4) Immerse the flowerpot in water, let the soil absorb water, take out the flowerpot, cover it with glass, and put it in a warm room.

⑤ The seeds germinate after about 35 days. At this time, take the glass and put the flowerpot in a sunny and ventilated place.

⑥ When the leaves grow to more than 10, insert the plants into a flowerpot with a diameter of 13 ~ 16 cm. When changing pots, the roots should be covered with soil to avoid damage. When planting, bulbs 1/3 should be exposed outside the soil.

3. Watering: ① It is best to water cyclamen in the early morning or morning.

(2) Before changing pots for the first time, you can water them by spraying; When the leaves of cyclamen are flourishing, it is best to water them in a basin.

Cyclamen cyclamen is not drought-tolerant, and its daily water supply should be sufficient, especially in hot summer, otherwise its leaves will turn yellow and wilt. In addition, the yellow leaves and dead branches that affect the growth of plants should be pruned after supplementing water.

(4) Cyclamen persicum avoids waterlogging, so the pot soil only needs to be kept moist, that is, water should be strictly prevented in the flowerpot. It is best to put plants in shelter in summer and rainy season.

4. Temperature: Cyclamen is not resistant to high temperature. If the temperature is too high, it will go into hibernation. In summer, it should be placed in a cool and ventilated environment, or some water should be sprayed on its leaves and surrounding land frequently to achieve the purpose of cooling and giving water.

5. Fertilization: ① During the vigorous growth period of cyclamen, it is best to fertilize once every ten days.

② When the flowers are in bud, bone meal or calcium superphosphate fertilizer can be applied once.

6. Illumination: ① Cyclamen is a light-loving plant, and its flowering period is in winter and spring. At this time, it is best to put it in a sunny place.

(2) to create a cool environment for plants in hot summer, it is best to put it on the balcony, window sill or shady eaves facing north.

7. Reproduction: Cyclamen is propagated by sowing.

8. Pruning: When modeling cyclamen, the central leaf is mainly pulled outward to highlight the mosaic level; When pruning, it is mainly to cut off dead leaves and small white leaves; Cut off the pedicels and diseased leaves in time after flowering.

9. Pest control: ① Common diseases of cyclamen include gray mold, anthracnose, soft rot, Fusarium wilt and leaf rot. Botrytis cinerea can cause plant leaves and petioles to die and bulbs to rot, and spraying 800 ~ 1000 times of 70% thiophanate-methyl wettable powder can prevent it. Anthracnose can cause plant leaves to die, and it can be prevented by spraying 50% carbendazim wettable powder 500 ~ 800 times. Leaf rot can make leaves rot from vein to leaf edge, and it can be prevented by applying oxytetracycline 2000 times solution.

② The common pest of cyclamen persicum is cyclamen mite, which is mostly parasitic in young leaves and buds. It can cause abnormal yellowing and flowering of plant leaves and can be sprayed with 40% dicofol 1000 ~ 1500 times or tebufenozide 2000 times.
