What should I pay attention to when using heat exchanger?
Matters needing attention in heat exchanger operation are as follows:

(1) Heat exchanger can only be used after pressure test after new installation or overhaul.

(2) When the heat exchanger is started, the cold flow should be introduced before the hot flow, and when it is stopped, the hot flow should be stopped before the cold flow. To prevent leakage or damage caused by uneven thermal expansion and contraction.

(3) One-way heating is not allowed for the fixed tube-plate heat exchanger, and the temperature difference between the two sides of the shell of the floating heat exchanger is not allowed to be too large.

(4) During startup, the exhaust valve should be kept open to discharge all air, and should be closed after startup.

(5) If hydrocarbons are used, before loading hydrocarbons, inert gas should be used to exhaust the air in the heat exchanger to avoid explosion.

(6) When stopping the machine for purging, the condensed water must be discharged before introducing steam, and slowly ventilated to prevent water hammer. When one side of the heat exchanger is ventilated, the ventilation valve on the other side must be opened to avoid pressure damage. When the heat exchanger is closed, the exhaust valve and drain valve should be opened to prevent the vacuum formed by cooling from damaging the equipment.

(7) When using the air cooler, pay attention to the uniform flow of some parts to ensure the cooling effect.

(8) Pay attention to monitoring at any time to prevent leakage.
