The disease began in spring and gradually subsided after summer and autumn. Rash is mainly a round or oval plaque in hypopigmentation, which is more common on the face, but also on the upper arm, neck and shoulders. The patches vary in size, ranging from about 65438 0 cm to several cm in diameter, pale white or reddish, with clear boundaries, slightly raised edges and a small amount of scales on the surface. Most patients have no conscious symptoms, and some patients may have mild itching. After a few days or more, it will fade by itself. The cause is still unknown. Some people think that this disease is related to streptococcus infection. In recent years, it is considered that this disease is a kind of nonspecific dermatitis or subtype eczema, which is related to strong sunlight exposure. Most of these patients can be determined to be related to intestinal parasites.
Because there is no obvious discomfort, many patients can heal themselves without treatment. People who need treatment should first pay attention to whether there are intestinal parasites. Those who do have intestinal parasites through fecal microscopy should be treated with deworming, and vitamin B2, vitamin B complex, vitamin A and vitamin D can be taken orally.
For local treatment, boric acid ointment, 2.5% ~ 5% mercuric ointment and 0.5% chlortetracycline ointment can be applied to white scales.
