Qinghe generally refers to Qinghe County. It belongs to Xingtai City, Hebei Province, and was called Qingyang in ancient times. It is located in the southeast of Hebei Province and the east of Xingtai City, bordering Gucheng County of Hengshui City in the northeast, facing Xiajin County of Shandong Province across the Wei Canal in the east, bordering Linxi County and Wei County in the south and west respectively, and bordering Nangong City by Qingliang River in the north.

Qinghe county has a warm temperate and semi-humid continental monsoon climate. There are four seasons in a year, and the four seasons are distinct. The total area is 502 square kilometers. In the early years of Sui Daye (605), Qinghe County was established. In July of the same year, Qinghe County was separated from Nangong County and restored to Qinghe County, belonging to Xingtai District, Hebei Province. 1993 Xingtai was withdrawn from the district to build the city, and Qinghe County was subordinate to Xingtai City.

The characteristic economy of Qinghe County is cashmere products, which is known as the cashmere capital of China. It is the world's largest distribution center for cashmere and cashmere products, accounting for 40% of the world's total annual distribution and 60% of the whole country, with a total output value exceeding 20 billion yuan.

Qinghe is also a sub-central city in the eastern part of Xingtai City, and is listed as one of the first batch of expanding counties and the first batch of medium-sized cities cultivated by Hebei Province. Hebei Economic and Technological Development Zone was awarded the honorary title of "National Civilized County" by the Central Civilization Committee on 201/.
