How to raise potted strawberries?
Strawberry potted in soil should first choose fertile and well-drained soil, and add decomposed chicken manure or bean cake as base fertilizer. New plants should be planted in pots from late September to mid-June, when the temperature is suitable, and they can recover quickly after planting. When planting, the soil should be compacted, and the base of seedling heart should be flush with the soil surface. If planted too deep, the seedling heart will be buried, which will easily lead to rotten seedlings; If the planting is too shallow, the new stems will be exposed and easy to dry. For the old plants that have already borne fruit, nutrient soil should also be added to the pot before a large number of new roots appear in autumn. If there are too many stolons, you can cut off a part and put it in a basin alone.

Strawberries like light, so potted plants should be placed in sunny places as far as possible, otherwise the plants will grow vigorously and bloom less.

Only by watering with sufficient fertilizer and water can more flowers bloom and less ineffective flowers. The flowerpot should be placed in a ventilated and sunny place to keep the soil moist.

Fertilized strawberries blossom and bear fruit many times in 1 year, which consumes a lot of nutrients and needs to be supplemented with nutrients. After strawberry sprouts in early spring, apply liquid fertilizer every 10 day, and water frequently before flowering to keep the soil moist.

Generally, the temperature of potted strawberries is 20-25℃, and the room temperature in winter is above 15℃.

During the growing season, dead leaves, diseased leaves and thin lateral buds should be removed in time, as well as unnecessary stolons and young plants.

Reproduction is mainly based on stolon ramets, which are mostly carried out after fruit picking in summer. Surprisingly, the long stolons of strawberries extend far away, and there are also a few small pieces of grass with many fibrous roots on the nodes. When this "viviparous" strawberry is cut from the mother plant, a new strawberry is planted. Plant it in the yard or flowerpot soil, apply foot fertilizer in advance, then pour enough water and leave it in the shade for a few days. The survival rate of grass poison is extremely high, and the reproduction coefficient is as high as 10 times, and the reproduction is rapid.
