If you want to copy a favorite handicraft, you can use the method of making molds. It is not difficult to make a mold. You can make it into any shape and size.

Method 1: making containers.

1, integral mold/double split mold. It takes only one mold to copy a plane object, and two molds to copy a three-dimensional object.

2. Measure the length, width and height of the object to determine the size of the required container.

3. Make the container according to the measurement data. Materials are optional, but the edges must be sealed or gaps filled with clay. The container should be 2.5cm longer, wider and higher than the object.

Cut four sides and a square bottom of the container from the foam board.

Adhesive plates using all-purpose adhesive must be sealed.

Method 2: Place the object

1, the manufacturing methods of integral mold and double assembly mold are somewhat different. Integrated mold: coat a layer of glue that can be easily removed on the bottom plate of the container, and then put the object vertically into the container with the bottom facing down. Adhesive can prevent rubber from leaking during the manufacturing process. Clay should be used to make molds.

Double-mode: put the clay into the container and insert the object vertically. When the height of clay reaches 1/2 of the object, smooth the surface clay.

2. Mix the plastic mold rubber according to the instructions. There are many kinds of molding adhesives, so you should know them clearly before buying them. Latex is cheap and easy to handle, but it takes a long time to demould.

Silicone is very durable.

3. Brush a thin layer of rubber on the surface of the object before molding, and carefully fill the gaps on the surface of the object.

4, pour the rubber, flush with the container mouth, completely covered with objects. Wait for enough demoulding time according to the instructions.
