The faults of TH bucket elevator are mostly caused by unreasonable design position of lower bearing, inadequate maintenance and adjustment of tensioner, unclear repair quality standard, unclear wear quality of chain, sprocket groove and other parts, uneven feeding, insufficient understanding of the role of some parts, and poor control of material moisture content. 1 and the bucket back part of TH bucket elevator is damaged.

Regularly check the wear of the friction surface of the sprocket. When the chain hook is found in contact with the bottom groove of the sprocket, the sprocket rim should be removed and replaced in time. The removed sprocket can be used as spare parts, and the small rim excircle and the wheel body excircle (i.e. the bottom surface of the groove) can be properly rotated for recycling. However, it should be noted that if the diameter of the rim excircle is too small, the bucket speed will be reduced and the conveying capacity will be reduced.

2. The lower sprocket bearing of 2.TH bucket elevator is damaged too fast and the journal is worn.

Pay attention to detect the dimensional change of the body shell along the sprocket axis. When the size increases by more than 3mm, it should be trimmed in time, and the deviation should be less than 3mm (see the specification for the standard size of TH winch shell of various specifications); Improve the design position of the lower sprocket bearing, that is, change it into an external bearing device, and set the bearing position outside the casing to avoid the direct damage of dust and high temperature in the lower casing to the shaft; Reasonably determine the weight of the tensioner weight. Generally, it is advisable to have a slight swing when the chain is running, or to determine the weight of the heavy hammer by calculation; Assemble the bearing according to the matching requirements of the shaft and bearing in the drawing, ensure the bearing seal is intact during maintenance, clean and lubricate the bearing regularly, and pay attention to the amount of grease and the correct choice of brand.

The chain of No.3 bucket elevator is deviated and the hook is broken.

When replacing the chain, the chain should be equipped with equal length chain segments and replaced in pairs. When matching, two chains can be hung on a horizontally fixed round steel drum, and the lower ends of the two chains are regarded as a pair; When the cross sections of links and chain hooks are worn to 1/3, they should be replaced in time; During maintenance, ensure that the residual tension stroke is greater than 5%, so as to determine the number of cut links and ensure the quality of chain and link hook fittings; Eliminate and prevent material blockage in time.

4. The materials in the lower shell of bucket elevator are blocked.

Keep the gap between the adjusting slide plate and the outer edge of the hopper within the range of 1-20mm; When the bucket depth increases, the bucket shape changes and the bucket spacing decreases, the hopper unloading should be checked. Because the size, shape and spacing of the hopper are related to the spindle speed, sprocket diameter and other factors, it has been checked during design, and there is little room for adjusting the size, shape and spacing of the hopper, which cannot be changed at will. The function of backstop can not be ignored, and attention should be paid to strengthening maintenance and timely repair.

As long as the equipment management is strengthened and the equipment performance is clear. By constantly improving the level of maintenance and scientific partial improvement of equipment, the failure of chain bucket elevator equipment can be prevented and reduced.
