Pomegranate likes a warm sunny environment, which is drought-resistant, cold-resistant, barren-resistant, waterlogging-resistant and shade-friendly. The requirements for soil are not strict, but it is suitable to cultivate in sandy soil with good drainage.
Pomegranate shaping and pruning:
Main cultivation tree: Pomegranate should be planted in the courtyard with an umbrella because the trunk is not obvious, and branches should be left when the trunk exceeds 1.2 meters. Moderate pruning: Pomegranate is sensitive to pruning and has poor shear resistance. When pruning in winter, it will produce spring prosperity and increase the number of vegetative branches, which will affect its fruit setting rate. A lot of pruning in summer will cause trees to weaken. Therefore, pomegranate trees with weak tree potential should be appropriately increased in winter and summer.
