Explain how to prune persimmon trees
Pruning methods of persimmon trees are as follows:

Pruning persimmon trees can refer to the tree shape of pear trees, such as making the trunk into sparse layers, leaving three main branches on the first layer and two main branches at a distance of 1 m from the first layer. When the main branches on the second layer grow up, remove the middle branches and extend into a double-layer five-main branch shape.

After young trees are planted, the trunk is fixed at a height of about 1 m, and three branches growing in the same direction are selected as the main branches. In winter, the main branch is about 60 cm, and the middle branch is about 70 cm.

In the second year, the extension branches of the three main branches were cut off by 60 cm, and the 1 side branch was selected every year, and the left and right branches were separated. Pull apart the two branches on the middle trunk as the transition layer.

In the third year, the trunk was cut off, leaving 70 cm. In that year, two main branches growing in the gap with the first layer of main branches were selected for culture. Two years later, when the main branches of the second layer grow out, the extended branches of the main branches are removed to complete the tree shape. For the branches on the main branch, the method of pulling branches should be adopted to make them grow moderately, produce multiple weak branches and bear fruit early.

Strictly control competing branches and upright branches on the back of holes, or sparse or heavy and short, so as not to disturb the tree shape and affect ventilation and light transmission. In the case of clear main branches, the growth of new branches can be slowed down, more middle branches can be produced and flowers can bear fruit early by light cutting, slow release and pulling branches.

persimmon

Persimmon (Latin name: Diospyros kaki Thunb) is a deciduous tree of persimmon, which is native to East Asia. It has been cultivated in China for more than 3,000 years, covering an area of 200,000 hm. Persimmon is not only nutritious, but also contains a lot of sugar and vitamins.
