Chongqing Changshou Middle School was founded in 1904 by Tang Woqi, then the county magistrate of Changshou, on the basis of Fengshan Academy. Linzhuangba, located in the east of the county seat, was named "Changshou County High School Hall". 1984 was approved as a key middle school by the former Sichuan Provincial People's Government, and it is one of the 27 key middle schools in Chongqing, Sichuan Province.
