In 2002, he obtained a master's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Tongji Medical University. In 2003, he entered the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the University to pursue a doctorate. His research interests include atherosclerosis, cell signal transduction and the pathogenesis of diseases, and he received his doctorate in 2006. During his Ph.D. and after graduation, he participated in many general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, doctoral programs sponsored by the Ministry of Education, and scientific research projects in Hubei Province and Wuhan City. As an applicant, he obtained the Natural Science Foundation of Hubei Province 1 item (2006ABA 153), Wuhan Youth Science and Technology Dawn Plan 1 item (20095043 1 78) and the Scientific Research Fund of Hubei Provincial Health Department1.

Research direction: the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and the study of cell signal transduction and diseases.
