Generally, the distortion correction is to clamp one end of the angle steel in a vise, clamp the right angle edge of the other end of the angle steel with a wrench, and make the angle steel twist in the direction opposite to the deformation by force, slightly exceeding the normal state of the angle steel, so that the distortion can be eliminated after repeated several times. Because angle steel is composed of two right-angled sides, when one side is stressed and deformed, the other side will also be deformed. So when straightening, you can't separate the two sides in isolation to correct, so you can't straighten all the time. Generally, when correcting deformed angle steel, the deformation should be checked visually or with a ruler first. First, correct the side with large deformation, then correct the side with small deformation, and check it repeatedly until it is straightened. When an angle steel may bend several times at the same time, the main deformation should be found and corrected one by one. When distortion and bending coexist, the distortion should be corrected first. Two. Angle steel corrects angle steel deformation by twisting, bending and angular deformation. There are two kinds of bending: internal bending and external bending; There are two kinds of angular deformation: open scale and closed scale. Angle steel is generally twisted first, and then the angular deformation and bending deformation are corrected. 1, Angle steel distortion correction Angle steel distortion correction can be corrected with a small angle wrench; The larger angle steel can be placed on the edge of the platform, and the flange of the angle steel can be struck in the reverse direction with a hammer; Large deformation or large angle steel can be corrected by thermal correction and other methods. 2. There are two ways to correct the angular deformation of angle steel: the first way is to lean on the angle, that is, when the included angle between the two wings of angle steel is less than 90 degrees, the edges of the two wings of angle steel can be placed on the platform to hammer the ridge line of the lean part, or the ridge line of the lean part of angle steel can be placed on the platform, with flat hammer inside, and then the angle steel can be split into right angles with flat hammer. The second ruler, that is, when the included angle between the two wings of angle steel is greater than 90 degrees, one wing of this part can be placed at 45 degrees with the platform and hammered on the flange. Attention should be paid to the correct hammering and the smooth drop of hammer when correcting, otherwise the angle steel is prone to torsion. 3. Angle steel bending correction Angle steel bending is the most common in angle steel correction, with internal changes and external bending. There are some ways to correct the inward bending of angle steel, such as hammering the convex part and expanding the concave part. Hammer the protruding part, and place the concave part of the angle steel to be straightened on the platform. In order to prevent rebound, you can also pad two steel plates under the angle steel as fulcrums, and hold the angle steel outside the platform with your hands so that the convex part of the angle steel is vertical upward. The position of the hammer point should be in the convex part between the two supporting points of the hammer. If it is corrected on the steel ring, two supporting points should be placed on the edge of the steel ring. When hammering the convex part, the hammering force should be slightly inward. At the moment of hammering angle steel, the handle end of the hammer should be slightly lower than the hammer surface, so that the hammering force should be slightly inward except downward to avoid the angle steel overturning. Expanding the concave surface can lay the concave surface flat on the platform, use the hammering groove to expand the hammering point from inside to outside, and at the same time increase the hammering force, thus stretching the concave fiber and straightening the angle steel. Angle steel camber correction, put the groove on the steel ring (or on the platform) to hammer the flange bulge. When hammering, the hammer handle should be raised or lowered according to the placement direction of angle steel to prevent the angle steel from overturning and causing industrial accidents.
