Philosophical basis-generally speaking, the internal contradiction of things is called internal cause and the external contradiction is called external cause. The relationship between internal cause and external cause is mainly manifested in the following aspects: First, internal cause is the basis of the development of things, and it is the first reason. Internal contradiction is the foundation of the existence of things, it is not only the source of their own movement, but also stipulates the basic trend and direction of the development of things. Second, the external cause is an indispensable condition for the development and change of things, and it is the second reason. Without certain external conditions, things cannot change and develop. Under certain conditions, external factors even play a decisive role in the development of things. Third, external factors work through internal factors. The effect of external factors on the development of things is manifested in the influence on the internal contradictions of things, that is, the development of things is promoted by changing the two sides of contradictions, but no matter how big the external factors are, they must also act through internal factors.
The key to the success of teenagers lies in their own internal efforts, but at the same time, they should pay attention to external causes, correctly handle the relationship between internal and external causes, and promote their own growth. 13% of college students have different degrees of psychological problems, which is the result of a recent survey by a well-known university in the south. Nationwide, the number of college students with psychological problems has reached 10% ~ 17%. Hou Yubo, an associate professor of psychology and secretary-general of the Youth Development Research Center of Peking University Hong Kong Youth Association, said in an interview recently that the proportion is already quite high.
In the final analysis, it is because the social environment in which young people live is changing too fast. With the rapid development of social and economic conditions, their growing environment is constantly changing, especially social values, family structure and function, the dissemination of social information, the form of interpersonal communication, the reform of education system, the change of employment structure and so on. All these bring different forms and degrees of pressure and challenges to the growth of a new generation of young people. Hou Yubo said, specifically, the confusion in the following aspects is particularly prominent.
Inequality confusion
Going to college now is very different from that in the 1980s. In the past, people's living standards were generally not high, and the gap between the rich and the poor was not obvious. With the further division of social strata, the gap between the rich and the poor has further increased, and there is considerable inequality in both economic conditions and psychological levels among college students today.
Economic problems especially bring great pressure to poor students, who are also eager to communicate with others, but poverty hinders them. They are afraid to have boyfriends and girlfriends because of serious economic pressure, and they are afraid to participate in activities that help their personal growth. "Communication needs a material foundation. Some students' family conditions are particularly poor, and their families are already in debt to pay for their schooling. It is not easy for such students to order pickles when they eat a steamed bun at school. " Professor Hou said.
Their only response is to get good grades. Therefore, poor students always bury themselves in their studies from morning till night and go it alone. They often have no friends, lack communication with others, and no one to talk to. "Communicating with people and talking with people is a good way to solve psychological problems. Poor students have accumulated all the problems and suppressed their distress. After a long time, they are prone to problems. " Hou Yubo, an associate professor of psychology in Peking University, said with concern.
Graduation confusion
In just a few years, graduation confusion appeared. Going to college used to mean having a job, but now it's very different. The number of college students has suddenly increased. The good feeling of being valued by college students in the past has been squeezed out by the huge employment pressure. Hou Yubo described today's graduates as frogs suddenly thrown into boiling water without a slow heating process. "So it is difficult for college students to adapt at the moment, and it is easy to go wrong. But if this process takes more than ten years to complete, it is easy to adapt slowly. Nowadays, some college students are under too much employment pressure, and it is easy to give up on themselves in extreme cases and give up their pursuit, just muddling along. "
On the other hand, the cost of going to college has increased a lot. Relatively speaking, the expectation and pressure from the family have become greater, so college students have a relatively high positioning of themselves. They all want to give full play to themselves and repay their parents and family. The greater the gap between reality and ideal, the greater the conflict.
In order to buffer and escape the pressure of employment, many people choose to take the postgraduate entrance examination. Professor Hou believes that this choice is not only due to the pressure of employment, but also due to the concept of "emphasizing diplomas over practical work" in society. At present, government agencies and state-owned enterprises that employ a large number of people still attach importance to diplomas, and many employers recruit graduate students and doctoral students just for window dressing.
It is easy to understand why more and more college students have plastic surgery. Professor Hou believes that from a certain point of view, this is also a last resort for college students to cope with the existing "beautiful economy" under the great employment pressure. This phenomenon should be treated normally. "Compared with the past, today's college students pay more attention to the relationship with others, pay more attention to themselves and their self-image, and with the hype of the news media, young people are more likely to be dissatisfied with their image."
