Practical artificial respiration first aid method

Breathing is a sign of human life. When an accidental injury occurs, breathing is difficult or even stops. If you don't give first aid in time, you will soon die. Artificial respiration is a first-aid method to help the wounded breathe with artificial strength and finally restore spontaneous breathing. ?

How to do artificial respiration?

A person will die within 2-4 minutes after stopping breathing. In this case, if the patient is given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, he may come back to life.

Key operation points:

1. The patient lies on his back, and puts a soft pillow on the back of his neck (not the back of his head) to make his head lean back as far as possible. ?

2. The rescuer is located beside the patient's head, holding the patient's nose with one hand to prevent air from leaking from the nostrils. At the same time, blow into the patient's mouth. After the patient's chest wall expands, stop blowing, let the patient's chest wall retract and exhale gas. Repeat this way, about 0/2 times per minute/kloc. ?

3. Blow fast and forcefully. At this time, pay close attention to the patient's chest. If there is any movement in the chest, stop blowing immediately. Tilt the patient's head to one side and let him exhale air.

Precautions:

1. Adults can blow more than 800 ml at a time, but not more than 1200 ml. Below 800 ml, ventilation may be insufficient; Above 2000 ml, the pharyngeal pressure often exceeds the esophageal pressure, causing flatulence and vomiting, causing aspiration. ?

2. After each blowing, the rescuer should quickly turn to face the patient's chest in order to inhale fresh air. ?

3, children once every 3 seconds, 20 times a minute. It should be repeated regularly and correctly. ?

4, after 4-5 artificial respiration, should touch the carotid artery, axillary artery or inguinal artery. If there is no pulse, you must have a heart massage at the same time.

How to implement the mouth-to-mouth blowing method?

The patient should lie on his back with his head tilted back as far as possible. First aiders should kneel beside the patient and hold the patient's chin with one hand and the patient's nose with the other (to avoid air leakage). The emergency personnel take a deep breath, then aim at the mouth of the patient and blow hard. After blowing, leave your mouth and let the sick and wounded breathe out the air in their lungs. In this way, the patient is blown regularly, every minute 16 ~ 20 times, until the patient recovers spontaneous breathing or is diagnosed dead.

How to do mouth-to-mouth blowing? ?

If the patient's teeth are closed and he can't open his mouth, mouth-to-mouth resuscitation can be used. The mouth-to-mouth blowing method is basically the same as the mouth-to-mouth blowing method except blowing from the patient's nostrils, and pinching the patient's mouth to prevent air leakage. Before mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, the dirt in the nose of the sick and wounded should be cleaned to prevent airway blockage. When carrying out mouth-to-mouth blowing and mouth-to-mouth blowing, it is best to separate the mouth or nose of the wounded and sick with gauze or handkerchief to avoid direct contact between the mouth of the emergency personnel and the wounded and sick.
