Second, rinse your mouth with water or tea after meals. There are also a lot of microorganisms in people's mouths. If the teeth are not brushed properly and there is food residue between the teeth, bacteria will multiply in large numbers, causing tooth decay or periodontitis. The best way to care for your teeth is to brush your teeth after every meal. If it is inconvenient to brush your teeth after meals, you can rinse your mouth with water or tea.
Third, do not eat sticky food, chew or knock on food, meat, etc. You must cut it with a knife or tear it into small pieces by hand or shell it before eating. You cannot chew it directly or tear it with your teeth.
Fourth, eat less snacks. Reduce the number of snacks and sweets, especially chewing gum, because it is attached to the appliance and difficult to remove. If teenagers are orthodontists, parents should urge their children to go to the hospital for examination, change steel wires and wear rubber bands on time according to the doctor's advice.
5. Keep your mouth clean. Orthodontic appliances are bonded to teeth by adhesive, and orthodontic devices apply force to teeth to correct tooth deformity. Therefore, the orthodontic toothbrush should be used gently and slowly for 3-5 minutes at a time. Orthodontic patients must keep their mouths clean.
