At the meeting, the National Strategic Plan for Preschool Children 20 12-20 16 was adopted (for students who were born in primary schools before 1 grade). The plan includes the following four main strategies:

1. All children will enjoy comprehensive and perfect services and improve their abilities.

This strategy will encourage all-round development of preschool children with quality. It will provide medical and health insurance services for all newborns to children under 5 years old. After 20 16, 90% preschool children of freshmen are developing at school age. 3-year-old preschool children can go to the preschool children's learning and development center. According to the compulsory education law, all 6-year-old Thai children will go to the first grade of primary school.

2. Iodine intake and preschool children's development

In order to make preschool children develop continuously and keep healthy, all pregnant women should get enough iodine from food and medicine. This is especially important for mothers who have been breastfeeding for the first six months.

Preschool children

Newborns and preschool children will enjoy all-round and high-quality care from their parents or guardians.

4. Preschool children development mechanism

This strategy provides a comprehensive and extensive development plan for newborns and preschool children. The Ministry of Education will set practical targets to promote the measurement of compliance with government policies and resolutions of the National Education and Science Commission. At present, the government will set up a committee to collect records, data and research results of preschool children. In this way, it will help to plan and evaluate current trends and effectively monitor the current situation.
