I am afraid of contracture after rhinoplasty. What about contracture after rhinoplasty?
1. The first common cause of nasal contracture: capsular contracture caused by prosthesis stimulation.

Prosthetic implant is a foreign body in human body. After being implanted into the human body, the immune system of the human body will attack the foreign body and form a fibrous tissue envelope around it. The capsule will thicken and tighten repeatedly, and the tip of the nose will become shorter and shorter, eventually forming a "nose facing the sky". After rhinoplasty 1 two years or even several years, I still feel that my nose is getting shorter and shorter and my nose is stiff, which is probably due to capsular contracture caused by prosthesis stimulation.

Features: contracture will continue to worsen, at least it will not relieve itself.

Solution: If there is a prosthesis but it is not taken out, it is necessary to take out the prosthesis, loosen the contracture capsule, construct the nasal tip bracket structure with autologous cartilage, and prolong the nasal tip, so that the nasal skin can be fully stretched as far as possible.

2. The second common cause of nasal contracture is scar contracture caused by traumatic stimulation.

Although there is no prosthesis in the nose, the scar contracture of the whole operation area caused by previous rhinoplasty will not continue to deteriorate after the proliferative phase. Although the nose has become soft, it is shorter than before, which is probably scar contracture. Visually, it also caused the occurrence of "nose and eye swelling".

Features: there is no prosthesis in the nose, and contracture will not continue to deteriorate.

Solution: you can choose surgical repair, and if there is no stimulation to the prosthesis, you can also choose prosthesis repair. However, the compound combination of autogenous costal cartilage, nasal septum cartilage or auricle cartilage should be used to repair this problem as far as possible.
