How to repair the vacuum tire of cart?
First, adhesive tape (external patching): This is a method I often see when patching tires in 4S shops. This tire repair method does not need to remove the tire. After finding the pierced hole, expand the hole appropriately with a rotary drill, and insert the imported rubber strip into the hole, which is quick and convenient, and the cost of one-time repair is about 30 yuan money. This method is most suitable for repairing the crown of radial steel wire tire, which is not only quick, but also can effectively avoid damaging the steel wire at the tire opening when disassembling the tire. There are also many people who think that this method will not leak air in a short time, and it will cause more damage to tires. The reason is that many roadside tire repair shops buy inferior rubber strips in order to be cheap, and the diameter of this rubber strip is relatively thin and its service life is relatively short. In fact, if good quality rubber strips are used to repair tires, the quality can be guaranteed, and the rubber strips will not fall off and leak slowly when the tire tread is worn.

Second, cold patch (internal patch): Cold patch is a very common tire repair method. This method is usually used to repair tires in a tire franchise store. The principle is similar to bicycle tire repair. This method needs to find the location of the puncture first, then put the tire on a special machine to separate the tire from the hub, then polish the punctured part on the inner side of the tire smoothly, stick a special adhesive sticker, then stick a special rubber sticker, and finally roll it with a tool until it is completely bonded firmly, which takes a long time to complete the whole tire repair. The advantage of this method is that the repair place is firmer, and the tire should be dynamically balanced after repair, which is more conducive to the normal use of the tire. As for its maintenance price, it depends on what kind of rubber is used. Rubber sleeves are generally divided into two types. Rubber pads are commonly used, which are relatively cheaper. Its disadvantage is that although the hole is repaired from the inside, the hole on the outside of the tire still exists, and water will slowly immerse from the hole, damaging the steel wire and ply of the tire. The cost of repairing each hole is about 20 to 30 yuan. The other is to use rubber nails, and the method of filling leaks is the same as that of rubber pads. The difference is that the glue nail should be pulled out of the hole in the last process, and the hole should be completely blocked to avoid the damage of steel wire and cord fabric caused by water immersion from the hole. The price is relatively expensive, and the repair cost of each hole is about 50 to 80 yuan. Cold-bonded patches are suitable for the crown and shoulder of radial steel wire tires, as well as inner and outer tires and bias rubber tires with less sidewall trauma. For radial tire with steel wire, the disadvantage of this method is that it is easy to damage the bead wire in the process of loading and unloading the tire, which leads to premature scrapping of the tire.

Third, fire repair (hot repair): fire repair is also one of the most traditional tire repair methods. Due to the progress of tire manufacturing technology and tire repair technology, there is little fire repair at present. Fire patching also includes removing the tire, then sticking a special green sheet on the pierced hole, and baking the wound with a baking machine so that the green sheet can be completely attached to the tire. Hot repair is suitable for the sidewall of bias tire and radial steel wire tire. Using special materials for tire production, such as tire cord fabric, tread rubber and various compounding agents, can repair the big wound on the sidewall of steel radial tire and ensure the repair strength. The advantage of fire repair is that it is very durable. Its disadvantages are: first, it needs professional technology and formal equipment, and it needs professional experience to accurately calculate the curing time, which is often not well mastered by ordinary tire shops on the roadside. Second, during the heating process, the steel wire in the tire will quickly transfer the baking heat to the whole tire, leading to rubber aging and steel wire delamination. Therefore, the tires repaired in this way will be distorted and deformed until they are scrapped.

Repairing tires is inevitable and economical, but not all punctured tires can be repaired. Once there is a big hole in the tire wall larger than 10 mm, or the tire crown is punctured by steel bars and other objects, it is better to replace it with a new tire, and you should not give up your safety in order to save a few small money. Which tire repair method should be adopted should also be treated separately according to the actual situation of the tire being punctured.
