Cutting: The scion should have 2 ~ 3 full buds. Cut a flat slope with a length of 3 cm at the lower end of the scion, and cut a slope with a length of 1 cm at the back. Cut the rootstock 3 ~ 5 cm from the ground, choose a flat and smooth side, and cut inward and downward. The length and width of the incision are preferably close to the long section of the scion. Insert the long section inward and the short section outward into the rhizome incision. On the upper part of the rootstock, the scion is exposed with a 2 ~ 3 mm cut surface, and at least one side of the cambered surface of the rootstock is aligned with the scion, and then it is tied tightly with plastic strips (Figure 3-2).

Splitting scion: Different from the cutting method, the cutting method of scion is two similar long sections, the rootstock is split from the middle, and the cut scion is inserted into the incision of the rootstock, and at least one side of the rootstock is aligned with the ear cambium. Finally, tie the bag tightly (Figure 3-3).

Abdominal connection: Abdominal connection is usually used. This method keeps the upper part of the rootstock, and cutting the scion is similar to cutting, except that one side of the cutting surface is thick and the other side is thin. Use pruning shears or a knife to make an oblique knife edge at the grafting part of the rootstock, the length of which is equivalent to the long section of the scion and reaches 1/3 of the xylem, insert the long section of the scion inward and the short section outward into the incision, align the thick cambium with the cambium of the rootstock, and finally wrap it tightly with plastic strips.
