Prune the extended branches of the main branches of peach trees in full fruit period, and the pruning amount should be increased appropriately, and the pruning length is generally 30 ~ 50 cm. After the crown stops expanding, it can be cut to 2-3 years old branches to sprout 1 annual new heads, and then cut to 1 annual branches in winter, and cut again after 2-3 years. This scaling can be used alternately to maintain the growth potential of the extended branches of the main branches and the size of the crown. The pruning of extended branches of lateral branches is: the upper branches are heavy and short, and the lower branches are light and short, so as to maintain the growth potential and prolong their fruiting life. Adjust the angle of the lateral branches to maintain the appropriate growth potential of the lateral branches (Figure 90).
