How to transplant gardenia
Gardenia is a woody plant that is evergreen all the year round. It blooms around the Dragon Boat Festival every year, with white color, dense silk and fragrant flowers. It is an excellent plant for urban beautification, highway greening and garden bonsai appreciation.

Gardenia has the advantages of short cultivation time, low investment and high benefit. Cut it in the first year, transplant it in the second year and sell it in the third year. The market price of each plant is around 2 yuan, and the big ones can be sold above 3 yuan. An annual income of over 10,000 yuan per mu is a good way to get rich.

1. Gardenia is suitable for growing in acidic soil. They like humidity and are afraid of dryness. The humidity can be 40-70%, and both can grow. Potted plants will die of drought if they are not watered for 7- 10 days. If you like fertilizer, you can often apply water containing ferrous sulfate, alum fertilizer or corrosive fertilizer. High temperature resistance, even 40℃. Cold-resistant, even if 10℃ or so, it will not freeze to death.

Second, the cultivation method of gardenia Gardenia belongs to flowering and fruitless plants. There is no seed and it can only be cultivated by cutting.

1, cutting time. The first half of the year is in April and the second half is in August-September. These two periods are the best season to cut gardenias and the best time to breed gardenias. The temperature is generally between 15-35℃, and the climate is mild, which is suitable for cutting growth. Generally, cuttings can take root and sprout in 30-40 days.

2. Land consolidation.

(1) Select land. It is necessary to choose land that is convenient for watering and ensure the source of watering.

② Soil preparation. Choose land with fertile land, loose soil and good ventilation effect. Generally, soil can be improved by deep digging before frost and wintering frost. Sprinkle some plant ash and sand before cutting, then turn the ground about 30 cm deep, then water it, and you can cut it.

3. Cuttings ① Selection of Gardenia branches. Branches should be 1-2 years old, with good skin color and no pests on green leaves.

2 pruning. Because the branches are sparse and dense, it is generally appropriate to keep the length of three nodes. Remove the lower leaves, leaving the leaves of the upper node 1-2, the oblique shear of the lower node 1-2 cm and the flat shear of the upper node 1-2 cm.

③ cutting. Insert the pruned branches directly into the prepared ground, tie two knots underground, and leave the upper section just above the ground, then water it.

4 water. Water is poured once every morning and evening to ensure the humidity after cutting, and the cutting density is 0/00-200 plants per square meter/kloc.

4, shading, moisturizing. Gardenia is not as fragile as herbs, but in order to ensure the survival rate, it is necessary to build a shade shed to avoid light and moisturize. This simple method can use local materials for free. Insert 50-60 cm stakes around the cutting site, erect them with branches and cover them with straw. Open the cover at any time in rainy days, and then cover it when the sun is strong.

5. Precautions ① Do not apply fertilizer before and after dicing, especially for people, livestock and poultry, natural fertilizers, urea and chemical fertilizers.

② Avoid drought. 3. Seedbed cultivation of transplanted gardenia is the stage to promote rooting and survival of long leaves. Because of the high density, it is inconvenient to further cultivate large seedlings. This requires transplanting culture.

1, soil preparation. The amount of land depends on the number of gardenia seedlings. The transplanting density is generally 20-27 cm in row spacing and 40 plants per square meter in plant spacing 13- 17 cm.

① Land preparation and slotting. Slot according to row spacing, as wide as a spade and 30-40 cm deep.

② Apply plantar fertilizer. According to the ratio of chemical fertilizer 100 kg and phosphate fertilizer 100 kg per mu, the pumped soil and fertilizer are evenly mixed into the tank.

③ The transplanting time is generally suitable in early and middle March. After transplanting, water it and then cover it with a layer of fine soil.

2, management ① watering. Because gardenias like humidity and are afraid of drought, they should be watered once a week after transplanting and once a week later.

② Topdressing. Two months after transplanting, apply some alum fertilizer water containing ferrous sulfate to supplement iron to prevent the leaves from turning yellow. Urea can be applied to acupoints every quarter.

③ Insect prevention. Leaf spray in autumn and winter.
