Scalded feet and calves blister for three or four days, accompanied by pain and redness. How can I reduce swelling without leaving scars? What medicine is used to get better faster? Avoid eating anything. ... 1. Classification of burn and scald degrees

1. The first-degree scald wound is on the epidermis, and the appearance is red and swollen.

2. The depth of superficial second-degree scald wound is in the upper dermis, and the initial manifestations are redness and swelling. Blisters will appear in about a day or two, and the wound will be extremely painful after the blisters fall off.

3. Deep second-degree scald wounds reach the dermis, and large blisters often appear.

4. The depth of the third-degree scald wound is deeper than the dermis, and the whole skin is completely necrotic.

Scalds with blisters should be above grade two. Please see a dermatologist for injection and smear.

2. Then home care:

Available drugs: silver sulfadiazine, zinc oxide ointment, paraffin cloth, artificial skin.

Artificial skin is only suitable for shallow burns (within the second degree of shallow burns), and because it is sticky, it will hurt the epidermis when you tear it off and replace it. Please apply a layer of scald ointment before sticking artificial skin.

When using artificial skin dressing, we should pay attention to the timing of replacement. When artificial skin absorbs wound exudate and turns white or even leaks, it must be replaced.

In addition, the artificial skin will closely cover the wound, which is closed. If the wound is not handled cleanly, it will form a hotbed of bacterial reproduction, so doctors should evaluate the wound before using it.

3. Blister treatment:

If there are blisters, the interstitial fluid in the blisters must be discharged first. Blisters will increase the pressure on the wound, leading to increased pain.

Use a thick sewing needle or sharp scissors, first disinfect the tip with a lighter (you can also buy a 20 # injection needle from a drugstore), gently puncture a gap from the side of the blister, let the interstitial fluid flow out by itself, or gently press it with a cotton ball or cotton swab to speed up its outflow; Keep the blister skin, cover the original blister and protect the wound.

4. Disposal method:

Disinfection:

Disinfect the affected area with tweezers and cotton balls dipped in iodine, and wipe around from the inside out.

Then wash the affected area with cotton ball dipped in physiological saline solution, and the wiping method is the same as above.

Take a dry cotton ball and suck up the water in the affected area.

Bandage:

Apply the ointment evenly to cotton pad, gauze or cotton soaked and smoothed with normal saline.

The thickness of the ointment should be more than 3~5mm (about the thickness of ordinary glass windows), and the gauze should be above the edge of the wound 1 cm to cover it tightly and protect the wound from infection.

Cover with gauze and fix with paper glue, preferably with a net cover.

It doesn't matter if you get wet directly in the bath, because the thickness of the ointment is enough to stop the penetration of water. Change the dressing after taking a shower! Change it once a day to prevent the secretion produced by the wound from stinking.

It can be cured in about 15~30 days.

5. redness and swelling

If it is inflamed, please go back to the dermatology department. Dermatologists may need to take antibiotics.

If the scald is not bandaged, it will increase the chance of infection. As a result of ventilation, the scab and necrotic tissue of the wound can not be excreted, resulting in redness and inflammation after 48 hours, which will not only delay the healing time, but also leave scars.

6. During the treatment, don't eat food with sauce color to avoid leaving color scars.
