Dr Alexander Carolyn Gray (English: Alexandra Carolyn Lexie Grey) is a fictional character in medical drama's Grey's Anatomy, which was premiered by ABC TV. The role was created by Shawnda Remes, the producer of the series, and played by Chiler Leigh. It first appeared in the third season, and then became the protagonist from the fourth season until the end of the eighth season. When the third season appeared, she was a surgical intern. She is the half-sister of meredith Gray (Elaine Pompeii). After her mother died suddenly, she moved to the fictional Seattle Charity Hospital, and then she became a surgical resident.

The clue of Lexie Grey's story focuses on her emotional entanglement with plastic surgeon Mark Si Long (Eric Dane). In the last episode of the eighth season, a plane crash caused her to be seriously injured and eventually died. The feedback of this role is mixed, and actress chyler leigh hopes to spend more time with her family.
