Generally, blood routine examination will be done before operation. If there is any problem, the doctor will inform you.

Contraindications of canthotomy:

(1). Patients with skin inflammation at the operation site should not be subjected to canthotomy.

(2) It is best for women not to have canthus surgery during menstruation.

(3) Patients with mental illness, psychological disorder or high or unrealistic requirements should not be treated with canthotomy.

(4) People with obvious scar constitution should not do canthotomy.

(5) Severe liver, kidney, heart and brain diseases, pregnant women and patients with severe blood diseases are not suitable for canthotomy.
