The main branches and lateral branches should be opened at the angle required by the tree. Don't pull the branches horizontally or droop, otherwise the tips of the branches will weaken and the branches on the back will flourish (Figure 80).

If the angle is not large enough, it is easy to produce upper strength and lower weakness and lower baldness (Figure 8 1).

If it is bent into an arch, it is easy to draw thick branches in the bent and prominent parts, which will disturb the tree shape and fail to achieve the purpose of pulling branches (Figure 82).

Branching methods can be adapted to local conditions, including supporting, pulling, hanging and grading (Figure 83).
