My hometown-Chengdu, a bright pearl embedded in the southwest of the motherland, is a city with a long history and beautiful scenery.
Thousands of years of Jinsha site and Sanxingdui civilization are buried underground. There are also Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project, Du Fu Caotang, Wuhou Temple and many other world-famous monuments. There are beautiful Jiuzhaigou, Xiling Snow Mountain, Emei Mountain and Qingcheng Mountain. There are only a few pandas left in the world. Funan River, the mother river with the world's best living environment award; There are also people's parks, Tazishan Park and Tianfu Square, which are loved by everyone. There is a magical and strange face change here; There is also a bowl of fragrant and refreshing tea here. There is steaming spicy soup here; There are also mouth-watering dragon wonton and leaves. Hard-working and kind Chengdu people live a harmonious, leisurely and happy life here.
But on May 12, all this changed dramatically. When the earth was violently shaken by an earthquake of magnitude 8, many beautiful homes no longer existed, and many of my grandparents, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters and children were buried under the rubble. The earth is shaking and people are crying.
Although Chengdu is a little far from the epicenter, the huge earthquake still makes us feel unprecedented panic and fear. When all the teachers and students in our school rushed to the playground at the fastest speed, what caught our eye was still shaking houses, people fleeing for their lives and fire engines roaring and running, and the whole city fell into disaster.
Aftershocks followed one after another. After more than a dozen frightened days and nights, I embarked on the road of visiting relatives with a feeling of sadness and disappointment.
Although I am far away from my hometown and have received meticulous care from many relatives and local school teachers and classmates, my heart is in Chengdu. I miss my school, my teachers, my classmates and thousands of Sichuan compatriots in Qian Qian all the time. Whenever I see on TV that the beautiful city in the past has suddenly turned into a pale world, my tears always fall like broken beads. But I firmly believe that the great Sichuan will not give up-the beautiful Chengdu will not give up!
Finally, after two months of long expectation, I returned to my dear hometown-Chengdu. You can still see the horror after the earthquake along the way, but with the care of the CPC Central Committee, the help of brother provinces and cities, and the leadership of the local government, neat prefabricated houses were built next to the ruins, and roads were built on the landslides. Strong and brave people are saving themselves and rebuilding with confidence.
As soon as I got home, I couldn't wait for my father to drive me shopping and visit Wuhou Temple and Du Fu Caotang. It's really emotional to revisit the old place, and everything has recovered so well. Everything we saw along the way was bustling and busy. People's faces were no longer sad during the earthquake, but excited and happy about the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games.
In Jinli, near Wuhou Temple, the goods are dazzling and colorful. Not to mention the sea of people in the vegetable market, the shouts of vendors and the bargaining of buyers are noisy. At the beginning of the lights, the streets are more lively and colorful, and there are bursts of Sichuan opera songs from time to time in the depths of the alleys, which is a scene of prosperity. Seeing all this, I suddenly remembered the recommendation of Chengdu city: "Chengdu, a city that doesn't want to leave when it comes."
It turns out that Chengdu is still very beautiful in my heart.
Chengdu is still beautiful
Chengdu is still beautiful in this season.
Chengdu people have deep feelings for the city they live in, and the cultural imprint of the historic city has already penetrated into everyone's bone marrow in Chengdu. Chengdu is a city composed of many immigrants, but it has a strong cohesion. It turns out that Chengdu people are not from Chengdu. They gathered in Chengdu, drank Jinjiang water together and were influenced by the culture handed down for thousands of years, so they condensed into Chengdu people. Everyone in this city is proud to be a Chengdu native and full of love for their city.
In the impression of Chengdu people, Chengdu is a unique place, rich in natural products, rich in aquatic plants, less disasters and more happiness. Even the earthquake that happened suddenly two months ago didn't scare Chengdu people in Lotte know life. Manage the house, work, things, and tea ... The resilience of Chengdu people is shocking and even shameful.
This is the tough and optimistic Chengdu people. This attitude towards life that coincides with mine is actually the most proud urban spirit of this city. Chengdu has experienced two "slaughter cities" in history, and now this big immigrant city with tens of millions of people has also appeared in broken walls twice. Even in ruins and empty cities, even in disasters, Chengdu people who have been rushing forward can still recover from repeated blows and show great vitality. It is the strength supported by the thousand-year-old culture and unyielding urban spirit. Urban buildings can collapse, but the imprint of culture has already penetrated into Chengdu and flowed in the blood of Chengdu people, which is immortal. Culture exists, spirit exists, buildings can be rebuilt, and cities can be rebuilt.
Chengdu people nourished by the water of Jinjiang River in western sichuan bazi have a unique psychological quality, an open character that is not exclusive, and an optimistic and peaceful mentality. I can't find it anywhere in Chengdu.
