(1) preoperative examination, making implant treatment plan: systematic examination of missing teeth and the whole oral cavity, oral X-ray film, and corresponding treatment. According to the patient's specific situation, make the implant treatment plan. Make an appointment for dental implantation.
(2) Implant operation stage: under local anesthesia, the artificial tooth root, i.e. implant, is implanted into alveolar bone through operation. Usually, the time to implant an implant is about 10-30 minutes, and there will be no pain during the operation and less postoperative reaction. If the bone mass in the edentulous area is insufficient, some artificial bone powder materials need to be implanted to supplement it. Generally speaking, implant surgery is a less traumatic oral outpatient surgery. After implantation, patients do not need to be hospitalized, eat soft food on the same day, can't brush their teeth and gargle for 24 hours, and generally take anti-inflammatory drugs orally for 3-5 days. After the artificial root is implanted, it takes 2-6 months for the artificial root to combine with alveolar bone. During this period, patients can wear temporary dentures.
(3) Full crown restoration: 2-6 months after implantation, it takes about one month to start the full crown restoration process of the implant after the artificial root and alveolar bone are completely combined. Usually, the crown is a metal porcelain crown, which has excellent texture, bright color, comfortable and beautiful appearance, satisfactory repair function and durability. After wearing the crown to complete the final restoration, it needs to be reviewed once every six months to one year. Regular maintenance is beneficial to the long-term use of dental implants.
