General matrix steel refers to the steel whose quenching structure contains basic chemical components except excessive carbides. Compared with high speed steel, the excess carbide in matrix steel is very small, and the carbide particles are fine and evenly distributed. Therefore, the matrix steel has the high strength and hardness of high-speed steel without reducing the toughness and fatigue strength, and the cost is lower than that of high-speed steel.
Grade of matrix steel
Most of the domestic matrix steels are based on W6Mo5Cr4V2 high-speed steel, and various brands of matrix steels are produced by modification in various ways. At present, our country has included the alloy tool steel * * * in GB/T 1299-2000 standard, and there are two brands, namely 65Nb(6Cr4W3Mo2VNb) and 6W6Mo5Cr4V. At the trial-production stage, the basic steels are LD(7Cr7Mo2V2Si), 0 12Al(5Cr4Mo3SiMnVAl), CG-2(6Cr4Mo3Ni2WV), 5Cr4Mo2W2SiV, RM2(5Cr4W5Mo2V), lm1(65w8cr4v2v). Foreign base steel brands mainly include ext161(50cr4mo4w2v), ext 158 (50cr4mo4w2oc5), MADRM2n(50Cr4Mo3W2V), Matrix Ⅱ CVM (55cr4mo5wvco8), YXR3 and YXR3.
