Nanjing Medical University is a key university in Jiangsu Province. Its predecessor was Jiangsu Medical Management College. Founded in Zhenjiang, the capital of Jiangsu Province, 1934. 1937 War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression broke out and moved to Yuanling, Hunan. 1938 merged with Nantong College and changed its name to National Jiangsu Medical College. 1939 moved to Beibei, Chongqing. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he moved back to Zhenjiang. 1957 moved to Nanjing and changed its name to Nanjing Medical College. 1970 merged with Nanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and changed its name to Jiangsu New Medical College. 1978 left Nanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and restored the name of Nanjing Medical College. 1993, approved by the State Education Commission, was renamed Nanjing Medical University.
The school has basic medical college, public health college, medical administration college, pharmacy college, nursing college, stomatological medical college, first clinical medical college, second clinical medical college, third clinical medical college, Gulou clinical medical college, continuing education college, higher vocational and technical education college and kangda college *** 13 secondary college.
