Money tree is a good ornamental plant, but many flower friends don't know its growth habits, and the usual maintenance methods are not right, which leads to the plant growing thin and not growing new buds for a long time. First, loose and fertile cultural soil.
After buying a cash cow, many flower lovers directly dug up some ordinary garden soil and planted it in flowerpots. This kind of culture soil is too sticky, with poor water permeability and air permeability, and there are not many nutrients. It is easy to harden in the later stage, which is not conducive to the growth of plant roots, and plants will not grow vigorously.
When mixing soil, more nutrient-rich humus soil, such as humus soil and pine needle soil should be added, and then a small amount of coal cinder, rotten peanut shells and sawdust should be inserted to increase the permeability of soil, so that plants can grow faster.
Second, the basin soil should not be too wet.
Cash cow is a plant that likes wet environment. In the process of daily maintenance, the watering can be filled with water, and fresh water is often sprayed on its branches and leaves to maintain a high air humidity. You can't water it too often, because its roots can store a certain amount of water and have a certain drought resistance. If watering is too frequent, the potted soil will be in a very wet state for a long time, which is not good for plant growth, because the roots can't breathe normally in the wet soil, and the broken machine will appear rotten roots and yellow leaves after a long time.
When watering cash cows, you can follow the principle of seeing dry and seeing wet. When the soil in the basin is completely dry, you should water it. Third, be lean and fat.

When plants are put into pots, some fully fermented organic fertilizers such as chicken manure, sheep manure and bean cakes can be mixed into the culture soil, or some slow-release fertilizer particles can be directly mixed, which can increase soil fertility and provide nutrients for plants.
In the vigorous growth period of plants, some dilute compound fertilizer aqueous solution can be properly poured every month, or some fermented rice washing water and cake fertilizer water can be used to make plants flourish.
Fourth, the requirements for lighting
Although the money tree has a strong shade tolerance and is maintained in an indoor environment lacking sunlight for a long time, the growth and development of the plant also need reasonable illumination. If it is kept in a dark environment for a long time, the leaves of the plant are easy to turn yellow and dull.
When the money tree is maintained in summer, because it is afraid of direct sunlight, it should be moved to a cool and ventilated place to provide shade and prevent the leaves from being sunburned by strong light. In other seasons, when maintaining cash cows, potted plants should be often moved to an environment with weak scattered light to allow them to fully carry out photosynthesis, so that plants can grow more vigorously and their leaves are greener and more shiny.
Five, pruning and shaping
Cash cows generally do not need to be pruned frequently, but when some dead leaves appear, they can be cut off from the base. If the branches and leaves of plants grow in disorder, which affects the beauty of plants, then some old and weak branches and messy branches should be trimmed and reshaped properly, which can promote the germination of new branches and keep the plant shape more beautiful.
