My arm humerus is broken. What should I do?
The treatment methods of humeral fracture mainly include the following:

1、

Manual reduction was performed under local anesthesia. Don't use violence when manual reduction, so as not to damage nerves and blood vessels. After reduction, the affected limb can be fixed with splint or plaster.

2、

For open fracture, when the wound is small, it can be treated as closed fracture after debridement and closing the wound.

3、

If the wound is large, the trauma time is not long (generally less than 12 hours) and the wound infection is not serious, the fracture can be fixed on the basis of debridement.

4、

Perform surgical treatment. If there is soft tissue impaction at the fracture end of the fracture patient, which makes manual reduction very difficult, or there are multiple joint injuries of bones in the same limb, or there are vascular injuries that require vascular surgery, or there are obvious nerve injuries, and surgery must be performed when surgical exploration is needed.

The external fixation time of humeral fracture is about 6-8 weeks for adults and 3-5 weeks for children, and the middle and lower 1/3 is prone to slow healing. External use of Hegu ointment can promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, reduce swelling and relieve pain, and promote fracture healing.
