Cranberry scones

Ingredients: 250g scone pre-mixed powder, 27g whole egg liquid, pure milk 100g, and appropriate amount of dried cranberries.

Production method:

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients used, weigh them separately, cut the unsalted butter into small grains, beat the eggs into a bowl and break them up with an egg beater for later use.

Step 2: Pour the scone powder into a glass bowl and add the salt-free butter cut into small pieces.

Step 3: Put on disposable gloves and rub the butter and flour evenly with your hands, so that there are no big particles in the flour, as shown in the figure.

Step 4: Pour the milk into the flour and stir evenly with a scraper to form dough.

Step 5: Pour in the beaten whole egg liquid, stir well and mix together.

Step 6: Add a handful of dried cranberries and knead into dough until uniform.

Step 7: After Si Kang dough is kneaded, it is not smooth and delicate. Just knead it evenly and then put it on a silica gel pad.

Step 8: Cut into eight small portions with even size with a slicing knife, knead the small portions into circles respectively, put them into a baking tray, and flatten them with the palm of your hand to make round scones. The oven begins to preheat, and the upper and lower tubes are 190 degrees.

Step 9: Brush a thin layer of egg liquid on the scone surface and sprinkle a little white sesame seeds.

Step 10: Put the baking tray in the middle layer of the oven, and bake at 190 degrees for 18 minutes. You can also adjust the temperature and time appropriately according to the coloring situation of your oven.

Step 11: After baking the scones, put them on the cooling rack in time for thorough cooling.

Tips:

1, dried cranberries can be omitted. My children add cranberries only because they like them. No cranberries, just plain scones.
