Beijing Huadu Asia-Pacific Hospital, formerly known as Asia-Pacific Eye Hospital, was founded on 1988 by Wang Meiying, director of ophthalmology department of 30/0/hospital. He is the first ophthalmology hospital in Beijing, the designated medical insurance hospital in Beijing, and a member of the World Ophthalmology Foundation. In 2005, traditional Chinese medicine, otolaryngology and stomatology were added and renamed as Huadu Asia-Pacific Hospital.
