Training requirements:
Students in this major mainly study the basic theoretical knowledge of horticultural crop breeding, cultivation, biotechnology, protected horticulture and post-harvest commercialization, storage, transportation and marketing, and prevention and control of horticultural crop diseases and insect pests, receive basic skills training in horticultural crop production and management, and master the basic abilities in new variety breeding, cultivation management, seed production and factory seedling raising, protected horticulture and horticultural industry development planning.
Graduates should have the following knowledge and abilities:
1. Master the basic theory of horticulture, and have good foreign language communication and application skills in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer and scientific writing;
