The difference between forging process and carving process
Forging process is a process of carving with steel mold by using forging machinery.

Forging process is to use forging machinery to exert pressure on metal blank to make it produce plastic deformation in order to obtain certain mechanical properties. The carving process is stamping with steel mold and then machining. Cast rims are made of sand molds.

Forging process is to cast aluminum liquid in sand mold, cool it and then machine it.
