1, first scan:
The first step is to scan the place where the teeth hold the missing teeth in the mouth. Usually, the internal scanner in the 3D scanner will be used to obtain the initial model of the missing tooth or the shape and size of the tooth.
2. Model modification:
Then the scanned tooth model is modified in detail to remove some shadows or redundant parts, or there is medical peacock discontinuity. Generally, it needs to be modified more or less after scanning.
3. Get the document:
After modification, you can get your own unique tooth model, process it in a specific processing software, export the corresponding print file, and transport it to a 3D printer for printing.
4, print personalized dental model:
Connect the obtained dental model file to a computer connected to a 3D printer, start printing according to the operation steps of the 3D printer, and finally get a personalized dental model. The printing here mainly uses photosensitive resin as raw material to make dental molds, because the grinding accuracy of bright resin printing is higher.
5, making plaster mold:
Taking the grinds printed by photosensitive resin as samples, a high-temperature resistant gypsum mold was made. Because the temperature resistance of photosensitive resin can't reach the temperature required for making dentures, and the high temperature resistance is poor, it can't be directly made into dentures, so it is necessary to make gypsum molds, which is the simplest and most affordable. Of course, laser sintering can also be used to print teeth, but the cost is too high to be suitable.
6, injection of dentin:
Dentin can be injected directly after the plaster cast of the dental cast is obtained. This is somewhat similar to our traditional method, that is, a method of injection molding.
7. Get a unique and personalized denture that suits you:
Finally, after the dentin is solidified, the gypsum is broken or dissolved, and the dentures are taken out and carefully treated, so that you can finally get the personalized and unique teeth you want, and there will be no deviation when installed on your gums, just like your real teeth before, and there will be no different sizes and large gaps.
