Does B-ultrasound have a great influence on the fetus?
B-ultrasound is a kind of sound wave propagation, which has no harm to human body. However, if they gather in one place for a long time and are relatively dense, they will have certain reactions and have adverse effects on the human body. Of course, expectant mothers don't have to worry too much. B-ultrasound used in medicine is low-intensity and harmless to the fetus. For women in early pregnancy, B-ultrasound should not be used as a diagnostic means of early pregnancy. When unnecessary, the fetus should try to avoid these exposures. During this period, the fetus is the most sensitive. Too frequent B-ultrasound examination will lead to cell division or fetal skeletal dysplasia, which will lead to fetal malformation.
At present, the sound intensity emitted by the B-ultrasound probe used in clinic is less than 10mW/cm, and the ultrasonic examination time is usually only 5- 10 minutes, and the detection time for various organs is even shorter. Therefore, the B-ultrasound examination does little harm to the fetus and will not affect its physical development. Therefore, pregnant women need not be afraid of B-ultrasound examination during pregnancy, and timely B-ultrasound examination is an important means to ensure the normal development of the fetus. However, if the time of B-ultrasound exceeds 20 minutes, it will have irreversible adverse effects on the fetus. Therefore, pregnant women should carry out appropriate B-ultrasound examination according to the requirements of doctors and control the number of B-ultrasound examinations. Generally, after 50 days of menopause, I went to the hospital for the first B-ultrasound examination. If the menstruation is normal, I can see the gestational sac, primitive heart tube pulsation and embryo bud.
Does B-ultrasound radiate the fetus?
It is widely used in medicine to know the health status of the fetus in the abdomen by doing B-ultrasound examination for women. Because when doing B-ultrasound, the time will be controlled within 5 to 10 minutes, and the detection time of fetal organs is very short, so doing B-ultrasound has little impact and harm on the fetus in the abdomen. When doing B-ultrasound, it will not affect the physical and mental development of the fetus in the abdomen, so pregnant women do not have to worry about the adverse effects on the fetus when doing B-ultrasound, which can completely dispel this fear.
However, this does not mean that you can do B-ultrasound at will throughout pregnancy, and there is no time and frequency limit. Some scholars have done an experiment in which the lens and cornea of fetal eyes at 1 1 ~ 12 weeks were irradiated by B-ultrasound. It turned out that those who were not exposed to radiation had no effect. After five minutes of irradiation, the cornea or lens has mild edema, which is more serious than that after five minutes of irradiation, but it is reversible and can return to normal after stopping irradiation. If the irradiation time exceeds 20 minutes, this change will be irreversible. Therefore, some scholars suggest that the time for a B-ultrasound should not exceed five minutes.
