Laser treatment of OTA spot
Because the pathological tissues of Ota's spot are very different from normal tissues, and different pathological tissues have different properties, different depth parts and different absorption of laser wavelength, different wavelengths of cosmetic laser have their own indications for eyes and skin around eyes.

Laser wavelength (1)532nm: Suitable for removing superficial pigmented nevus around eyes. Such as birthmark, Ota spot, nevus, coffee nevus, freckles, various pigmentation, eyebrow tattoo, eyeliner tattoo, as well as various erythema nevus and vascular diseases.

(2) Laser wavelength 2)585nm: Suitable for all kinds of erythema nevus and vascular diseases. 585nm is the strongest absorption peak of red blood cells, and it is the best wavelength to treat various erythema nevus and vascular diseases, such as spider telangiectasia, hemangioma, rosacea and deep erythema.

(3) Laser wavelength 3)650nm: Suitable for removing tattoos and pigmented nevus. The wavelength of 650nm is the absorption peak of green dye, which is the most effective for removing the green pigment in professional tattoos, and can also be used for removing general pigmented nevus.

(4) Laser wavelength 4)694nm (ruby laser): suitable for removing Ota spots, sun spots, freckles, blue-black, black, green and brown tattoos.

(5) Laser wavelength 5) 1064nm: Suitable for lesions with deep pigment and tattoos with deep color. 1064nm has strong permeability to skin tissue, and can reach melanocytes or black-blue tattoo dye particles in deep skin.

(6) Laser wavelength 6)2940nm (Er laser): Suitable for wrinkle removal of skin around eyes. The thermal damage to the skin is very shallow, only 5 ~ 10μ m, the skin heals quickly, and there is basically no pigmentation after operation, which is especially suitable for Asians and darker skin.

In the past, grinding and skin grafting were often used to treat nevus of OTA in the plastic surgery field. The former is only effective when used alone, which requires high operation and is difficult to give consideration to safety and effect. Skin grafting is economical and effective for cases with deep and dense melanocytes, such as cases with black appearance, but it is not suitable for eyelid area.
