In order to build a beautiful home, a clever and capable stonemason and his wife skillfully embroidered women and decided to chisel out a green hill with their huge stones. The gods in the sky were moved by their determination and efforts. With the help of the gods, masons carved huge stones into undulating mountains and deep valleys; Embroidery mother threw the carefully embroidered cloth handkerchief and colored handkerchief into the sky, and the colored handkerchief floated to the top of the mountain, becoming a colorful halo; Bubba flies in the Rocky Mountain, turning into a lush forest, with colorful clouds, waterfalls, flowing springs and blooming mountain flowers, turning into singing birds, jumping monkeys and wandering beasts. The green hills dance and the green waters sing. Because this kind of green is as beautiful as embroidered mother's eyebrows, people call this kind of green mountain Emei Mountain.
Another way of saying it is: Once upon a time, there was a Xipo Temple outside the west gate of Emei County. One year, an old painter with white hair came. The painter has a good friendship with a monk in the temple. One day, it was sunny and the green willows hung low. The painter invited monks to visit Wuyou Temple in Leshan. The monk declined with a smile and said, "It's dozens of miles away from Leshan, and it takes a day to go back and forth, which is very inconvenient." When the painter saw the monk not going, he went alone. He will be back in less than half a day. I also brought back some paintings of Wuyou Temple to the monks. Monks love calligraphy and painting since childhood and are very happy. At the same time, I also wonder why the painter came back from the worry-free temple in less than half a day. The mysterious monk has been unable to guess. A few days later, the painter came to say goodbye to the monk and paid for the room and board. The monk insisted on not accepting it. When the painter saw that the monk didn't want to collect money, he suddenly remembered that the monk liked painting, so he took out a paper inkstone and said to the monk, "If you don't collect money, I'll draw you some." The monk was filled with joy. In a short time, the painter finished painting four pictures. Every picture depicts a beautiful girl. The first picture shows a girl in a green dress with white gauze wrapped around her head. The second picture is a girl wearing a red dress and green gauze on her head. The third picture shows a girl in a blue dress with yellow gauze wrapped around her head. The fourth picture shows a girl wearing yellow clothes and red gauze on her head.
In ancient times, the beautiful girl was called Emei, so the painter named four paintings "Four Women in Emei". The painter handed the painting to the monk and said, "You put it in the box and hang it after 7749 days." After the painter left, the monk thought, it's a pity to put such a good painting in the box. Why not hang it up for everyone to enjoy? So I hung these four paintings in the living room. One day, the monk came back from outside. Suddenly I saw m-girls sitting in the living room, talking and laughing. The monk looked at these girls very familiar and felt very strange. I didn't see these girls when I went out just now! He asked, "Are you girls here to visit the temple or to worship the Buddha?" The four girls didn't answer, just giggled and ran out. At this time, the monk suddenly found that all the beautiful girls in the four paintings on the wall were gone. M-girls, who originally ran out, was painted! So, the monk chased after him. The third sister ran fast and ran to the front, while the fourth sister ran slowly and fell behind. The sisters turned around and saw Huei-fang still behind, so they stopped to wait for her. At this time, the monk had caught up with his sister and grabbed her skirt to drag her back. Seeing that she couldn't leave, Fourth Sister shouted, "Big Sister, Second Sister, Third Sister, come and save me!" When the third sister saw that the fourth sister was carried back by the monk, she angrily scolded, "This monk is really shameless!" Huei-fang was so far away that she only heard the words "don't be shy", thinking that her sisters were scolding her. She blushed and immediately turned into a mountain peak. The monk suddenly disappeared from the girl, but a mountain appeared in front of him. He thought, I was watching you when you became a mountain, but I couldn't let you go anyway. The three sisters saw that Huei-fang had turned into a mountain, and three mountains were waiting for her. Later, the monk died beside the mountain and became a porcelain arhat, still guarding the mountain. People built a temple there, called "Porcelain Buddhist Temple". The four sisters became four peaks, each more beautiful than the other. Later, people changed the word "E" in Emei into the word "E" beside the mountain. My sister's name is Da 'eshan, my second sister is Er 'eshan, my third sister is San 'eshan and my fourth sister is Si 'eshan. Today, Da 'eshan, Er 'eshan and San 'eshan still stand side by side, only four Eshan are separated by a certain distance.
