Years: a wooden door carbonized and mottled after being burned. At the shabby door, an old man bowed his head silently, just like a personal portrait hanging on the door. The author didn't take a panoramic view, but only caught a partial close-up, old house, shabby, old man, silence ... The limited information in the picture condensed the story between square inches, giving people unlimited imagination.

The old man's indescribable attachment and helplessness to the old house inspired the picture in a quiet atmosphere. Because of this introverted temperament and silent narration, this work won the first prize in the category of 20 13 snowflake pure Chinese ancient architecture photography competition.
